Beginning the real work with Art Construction

Truthfully this house has been in the works for months. There is a ton of figuring, estimating, anticipating technicalities and coordinating with the rest of the team. Art Construction is a dream to work with on our side of things, their team is quick to respond and thorough. The pace has quickened in the past week: product is arriving and prep is beginning. This two million dollar river front property has been and continues to be a fun project to work on. Waterproofing and heated floor mats are getting started, phase one is well on its way. We are looking forward to seeing the finished product more than ever. The home owners chose the best of the best with Mercier hardwood and Midgley West tile.

University of Saskatchewan, Phase II complete

We have been working away at the President's residence for... a while. We have been working with local designer Edie Reikman to bring the big picture to fruition. The first phase was completed last year; we tore out all the existing entry tile and replaced it with a China black marble. It makes a big impression with your first step in the door. A perfect contrast to the greystone U of S is known for. The goal was to have a cohesive look through the whole house that would LAST. Phase II began with tearing out the three main floor fireplaces hearth and surround and replacing it with a marble that would go with the entry. Phase III is coming soon!
